Pictured receiving his 25 year service award is Robbie Cameron, general manager of the Glenburn Hotel.

Robbie came to the Island in 1993 from Strathpeffer where he had managed hotels across the Highland region for the Shearings group.

Over the past 18 months Robbie has overseen the refurbishment of the Glenburn after it’s purchase in the summer of 2016 by Alvin and Peter Tey - who have invested heavily in both the structure and fabric of the building along with the decoration and furnishing of the hotel’s bedrooms and public areas.
