At the February meeting of Port Bannatyne WRI, the president, Aileen Fitzgerald, introduced Nina Graham as the speaker for the evening.

Nina worked as Local Development Officer in Bute for the past eighteen months. She outlined the projects she had been involved in. Some of these had been successful, but others less so. She described Bute as being a fragile economy and as such encouraged everyone to work together and to give support to all the projects aiming to improve all aspects of life on Bute. Els Kamst thanked Nina for her interesting talk and wished her well in her new work with the Bute Forest.
