It’s a good thing the Pavilion will close soon for renovations - The Vatersay Boys just about blew the roof off the place on Friday night!
The charity ceilidh, which was held to raise money for island organisation Achievement Bute, is one of the final events to be held in the iconic building before it closes its doors for the multi-million refurbishment, and revellers certainly made the most of their time on the dance floor.
Showing the rest of the island how it’s done, the younger generation filled the dance floor for the first dance of the night - a Gay Gordons - and the the momentum only built from there.
With no signs of slowing down, The Vatersay Boys kept the floor filled all night with Dashing White Sergeants, Military Two-Steps and Strip the Willow keeping everyone on their toes.
