VIDEO: Colourful scenes at jazz brolly parade

A well-loved staple of the Isle of Bute Jazz Festival is the traditional ‘brolly parade’ in Rothesay town centre - and this year’s event proved more popular than ever.

Jazz-lovers congregated in the town’s Guildford Square on Saturday morning to show off their beautifully hand-crafted umbrellas, before heading along Montague Street, led by an all-star ensemble featuring musicians from several of the bands on this year’s bill, and Bute’s very own Jenny Brown.

The much-loved brolly parade took place on Saturday, May 2, with Jenny Brown leading the way.
