Talented Bute soloists to take to the stage

An evening of entertainment awaits in Rothesay next week as Bute Community Band presents its ‘Soloists’ Concert’, displaying the instrumental and vocal talents of some of the band’s members.

The concert - on Tuesday, June 2 - is an opportunity for members of the band to take centre stage at the United Church of Bute hall to play both classical and contemporary works including ‘Hit the Road Jack’ (made famous by Ray Charles), ‘Gabriel’s Oboe’ from ‘The Mission’, ‘Tis The Last Rose Of Summer, and ‘I Dreamed a Dream’ from Les Miserables.

Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start, and entry is £5, payable at the door.
