The Argyll and Bute Ukulele Orchestra will return to the stage at a charity fund-raiser in Rothesay next weekend.

The Bute-based group will be joined by four great Scottish storytellers - Michael Kerins, Donald Nelson, Paddy Hanrahan and Alison Clark - at the event in St Paul’s Church Hall on Saturday, June 13.

It’s the third year of the popular event, which was set up to raise cash for the SLATE charity (Scotland Language Action Towards Education), which was set up to help disadvantaged children in Russia.

Tickets are available from Musicker in Rothesay’s High Street, Macqueen’s butchers in Bishop Street and Print Point in West Princes Street.
