One of America’s finest exponents of the finger-picking guitar style pitches up in Rothesay this weekend for his first show on Bute.
Stefan Grossman, who was born in Brooklyn, has been recording and performing since the 1960s, when he recorded a number of cuts for Joe Bussard and his Frederick, Maryland based Fonotone Records and performed under as “Kid Future”.
As well known for his instructional videos - many of which can be found on YouTube - as for his performances, Stefan resumed touring in 2006 after a long spell away from the road, and since then has toured in Europe and Japan, as well as across the US.
