Parents, teachers, family and friends of North Bute Primary gathered at Port Bannatyne village hall on Saturday evening for a fund-raising ceilidh in support of the school.

MC Jim Bicker and the music of Ian McLachlan and Jimmy Morrell made sure the dance floor was never empty - and though plenty of effort is always required when dancing the night away in a traditional Scottish style, the smiles on the faces of those present confirmed the success of the evening, which was organised by the school’s parent council.
