JazzMain will be taking to the stage of the Victoria Hotel this Sunday, February 1.

Coming to Bute this weekend are JazzMain - a four-piece jazz band with a real love for the genre.

The group was formed in 2003 by tenor sax player Nick Gould, comprising accomplished musicians playing a range of jazz music in and around Edinburgh and Glasgow.

The band has performed at gigs and events all over Scotland and Ireland, and will be making their way across the water to Rothesay on Sunday, February 1, for what looks set to be a superb afternoon’s entertainment.

JazzMain are known for their eclectic repertoire which includes all types of jazz, performed in a number of styles, and while the group loves to play music, all have also been professional business people, and their ethos is to play music of the highest

quality.

Joining Nick on stage on Sunday will be Kevin Dorrian on drums, Steve Grossart on keyboards and Iain Harkness on bass.

Speaking of Sunday’s concert, JazzMain, on their official website, said: “We are excited to be playing at this monthly event which is run by the team who organise the Bute Jazz Festival.

“We are planning a mellow afternoon gig with some of our favorite

tunes.”
