The next artist to take to the stage at Rothesay Joint Campus as part of Bute Arts Society’s 2013/14 programme is William Howard, one of Britain’s leading pianists.
Having enjoyed a career that has taken him to over 40 different countries, William’s performing life consists of solo recitals, concerto performances, guest appearances with chamber ensembles and instrumentalists, and regular touring with the Schubert Ensemble of London, Britain’s leading group for piano and strings, which won the 1998 Royal Philharmonic Society Award for Best Chamber Ensemble.
He can be heard on a wide range of CDs released by Chandos, Hyperion, ASV, NMC, Collins Classics, Black Box and Champs Hill.
His performance on Friday, February 14, will undoubtedly be one to enter into your diaries now.
Tickets for the concert, which starts at 7.30pm, cost £7, with free entry to students.
