VIDEO: Three Craws call in at Rothesay bookshop

The programme of story sessions and author visits for Independent Bookshop Week in Rothesay continued on Thursday with a storytelling event led by Rothesay resident Alison Clark.

Alison, who features on the scottish Storytelling Centre’s register of professional storytellers, had her young audience at local bookshop and stationer Print Point equally entranced and in stitches in a session which included a re-telling of Judith Kerr’s famous children’s tale, The Tiger Who Came To Tea, and a recreation of the Scottish nursery rhyme about the Three Craws (who sat upon a wa’) - complete with alarmingly lifelike puppets!

Print Point’s week of IBW events concludes at 5.30pm on Saturday with a visit from Kirsty Logan, whose bestselling debut novel The Gracekeepers was selected as ‘Book of the Week’ by BBC Radio 2’s Simon Mayo in April.
