VIDEO: Rothesay Primary’s P7 Burns supper

Pupils in P7 at Rothesay Primary School have been learning all about Scotland’s national poet, Robert Burns, 256 years since his birth - and they headed to Mount Stuart on Friday to celebrate Burns’ life and work with a supper that was both modern and traditional.

After enjoying a lunch of haggis, neeps and tatties, the company enjoyed entertainment which included several of Burns’ works as well as a selection of contemporary Scottish poetry and song.

Rothesay Primary School's P7 Burns supper was held at Mount Stuart on Friday, January 23, 2015.
