The woman behind Calum’s Cabin was given the shock of a lifetime when she was taken onto ITV’s ‘Surprise Surprise’ in recognition of her work.
The episode, which aired on Sunday evening and is available to view on STV Player if you missed it, showed Caroline Speirs being collected at Calum’s Cabin by TV’s Mark Wright, before being whisked off in a helicopter to ITV’s studios in London for a makeover ahead of her appearance on the show.
Caroline, who hadn’t been told any of the details, was then joined on the ‘Surprise Surprise’ stage by husband Duncan, and daughter Jenna, both of whom paid tribute to a “wonderful mum and wife”.
“Jenna has told me she’d been planning the suprise for between ten months and a year,” Caroline told us.
“She told me that there was a possibility ITV would feature Calum’s Cabin in an advertisement, so they’d be coming to do some filming, so that’s what I thought we were doing for the last six months.”
