A top Scottish crime author will visit Rothesay Library next week as part of a series of events celebrating books and reading across the country.

Craig Robertson, author of ‘Random’, ‘Witness The Dead’ and ‘The Last Refuge’, will visit the island’s library on Wednesday, November 25 at 7pm, as part of Book Week Scotland.

A former journalist, Craig spent twenty years working for a weekly Sunday newspaper before devoting his time to writing fiction full-time. During his career he interviewed three Prime Ministers, and covered a number of major stories including the Twin Tower attacks on 9/11, the Dunblane massacre, and the Omagh bombing.

Predominantly set in Glasgow, Craig’s novels delve deep into some of the most dark and depraved crimes imaginable, and into the characters seeking to bring these twisted killers to justice.

Tickets for the author visit are free of charge, but booking is essential to avoid disappointed.
