Pupils from the Anne McIlroy School of Dance on Bute have sat - and passed - their SDTA exams at Rothesay Joint Campus.

The pupils were given their grades by examiner Lynne Hamilton from the Scottish Dance Teachers’ Alliance, who announced herself very impressed by the abilities of the young dancers.

Among the notable performances on the day were those by Molly Doyle and Marcela McMillan, who both received a glowing report for their choreograph dance, which Miss Hamilton said was “a joy to watch”.
