The Bute Highland Games is on the lookout for a new secretary following David Anderson’s decision to step down after seven years in the post.
Games chairman Gordon Sutherland said: “David has worked tirelessly to improve and streamline the administration and organisation of the Games and has now produced a package which will standardise and simplify the organisational processes for his successor.
“Bute Highland Games is extremely grateful to David for the sterling work he carried out during his period of office, and we have been delighted to learn that he has agreed to remain as a serving member of the Games committee in future.
“The bonus we gain from this is that David will be on hand to support his successor, with advice and practical help as required.”
