Local charity Achievement Bute kicked off a new season of monthly ‘Pavilion Playdays’ with a Big Bounce event on Friday afternoon.

Bouncy castle sessions, games, Space Hoppers and art and craft tables ensured there was plenty to keep participating children busy at the start of the island’s schools’ mid-term holiday weekend.

The charity’s ‘Pavilion Playdays’ will take place once a month until March as a winter addition to the already popular workshops and events held during the spring, summer and autumn school holidays.

Next up is a Creative Christmas music workshop and children’s ceilidh with Scottish folk rock band Skerryvore on December 14 - more details on the January, February and March events to follow soon.
