Singer-songwriter Nick Harper left a capacity Bute audience spellbound after a stunning live set at Craigmore Bowling Club in Rothesay on Saturday.

This video features brief highlights from his set on Saturday - ‘Two Way Thing’ from his 1998 album Smithereens, ‘Evo Morales, a tribute to the eponymous Bolivian preside,t and a cover version combining Led Zeppelin’s Whole Lotta Love and Elivs Presley’s Guitar Man.

There’s also a short clip of Saturday’s support act, Glasgow singer-songwriter Alan Tennie, performing the brand new ‘Are You Having Fun’, composed just a few hours before the gig.
