A performance of Christmas carols and festive favourites by pupils from all three Bute primary schools was one of numerous highlights on Sunday afternoon at Mount Stuart’s annual Christmas fair.

Pupils from Rothesay, North Bute and St Andrew’s joined forces in the stunning Marble Chapel to sing in front of an audience of proud parents and friends at one of the most popular events in Bute’s annual pre-Christmas calendar.

The event also featured a charity ‘Santa Dash’ in the grounds of the house, together with a ‘Robin Run’ for younger visitors, as well as a puppet workshop and performance run by local charity Achievement Bute, plus mulled wine, mince pies, Santa in his grotto and stalls featuring food and drink, arts and crafts and other Christmas gift ideas.
