Ten lucky children from Rothesay Primary will have their artwork put on display in bedrooms at the athletes’ village at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Pupils from the primary were asked to draw pictures inspired by the games and sent them away to decorate the athletes’ bedrooms during the summer.
The youngsters picked up their pencils and began work straight away - and ten were delighted to be told on Monday that their pictures were among the winners.
Each picture will go on display along with a postcard, for the athlete staying in the room to fill in and send back to the pupils.
The children were excited to see their designs sent away and seemed eager for the Games to start to see the replies from the athletes!
