The Isle of Bute branch of the Royal British Legion Scotland is hoping to open a small military museum at its premises in Rothesay town centre.

The branch’s members are looking for small items of memorabilia to put on display, such as tin hats, ration books and medals, with a particular focus on local people and their stories.

Display items, which can be either loaned or donated, can be handed in to the branch office in Deanhood Place, or pickup can be arranged by calling 07773 973447.
