Island residents helped to ‘Buck the Trend’ at the annual Cancer Research UK fashion show in Rothesay Joint Campus on Friday evening.
The evening, organised by the team at the Rothesay shop of Cancer Research UK in Montague Street, took ‘Buck the Trend’ as its theme, and displayed just some of the superb clothes, shoes and accessories which can be found in store.
Models of all ages strutted their stuff, the audience cheering them on as they made their way down the catwalk, as shop manager Anna Harrison provided descriptions of the outfits on offer.
Between displays, Anna provided information on the work of Cancer Research UK and how your money is helping to buck the trend, turn statistics on their head, and make a difference to those with the disease.
Shoppers were kept busy at the bring and buy sale, and refreshments courtesy of Bute Rugby Club kept everyone’s thirst quenched on the hot evening.
