Bute artists’ work on display at Rothesay Library

A month-long preview of the work of the Isle of Bute Artists' Collective opened at Rothesay Library on Friday, August 1, 2014.

 

Artworks by members of the Isle of Bute Artists’ Collective has gone on show in Rothesay ahead of the organisation’s annual Open Studios Weekend next month.

The preview at Rothesay Library, featuring works by 17 IBAC members in a variety of media, was opened on Friday, August 1 and remains on show during normal library opening hours until Saturday, August 30.

Artists featured in the preview exhibition include the mother, father and daughter trio of Angela, Ray and Amy Beverley as well as Debbie Willet, Ted Kelcher, Anne Bissell, Jeff Worrall, Liz Wren, Ruth Slater, Gregg McNeill, Alison Clarke, Jean Brown, AniMac, Jessica Herriot, Gordon Stevenson and Lyanne Mitchell.

IBAC’s open studios event, giving members of the public a chance to see the organisation’s 21 members at work, takes place at 13 venues around the island on Saturday, September 27 and Sunday, September 28.
