Richard McIntyre snatched an unlikely win in the singles winter league at Rothesay Golf Club on Saturday.

Standing on the last tee he trailed Michael Murty by three points but somehow managed to score a net eagle on the last hole for four points to return a score of 40 points, pushing Michael into the second spot on 39 points.

Richard’s two at the last hole was one of five scored on Saturday, the others being Michael Murty and Jim McClean at the 4th, and Tommy Duncan and Neil Ritchie at the 8th.
