Torrential rain on Saturday and Sunday left many of the greens at Port Bannatyne unplayable, forcing the postponement of the quarter-final ties in the Rothesay Motor Services Winter League.

The ties will now be played this Sunday, March 8 - fixtures and times as follows, for those who missed them last week!

8.45am D. Standaloft & H. Whitelaw v M. Crichton & R. Jardine; 8.55am J. Thom & G. McIntyre v I. McFarlane & C. McClymont.

9.05am D. Driver & S. Jamieson v J. Black & R. Pedder; 9.15am T. McDonald & J. Jardine v G. Peacock & C. Renfrew; 9.25am J. Webster & A. Dunn v R. McArthur & J. Livingstone; 9.35am A. Greer & A. Greer jnr v C. MacPhail & P. Barnett.

The proposed medal due to have been played this Sundaywill be re-arranged.

The Routenburn opposition for our Mail on Sunday second round tie is unable to find a team for the arranged date on Sunday, March 8, and at the time of going to print negotiations are ongoing to find a suitable date on which to play the fixture.
