Youngsters put through paces at Sport Camp

The island’s children have been making the most of the decent weather during their October holidays by taking part in a joint partnership between Argyll and Bute’s community sports hub and Active Schools with a series of sporting events.

We caught up with the youngsters on Tuesday at Rothesay Joint Campus where they were being put through their paces by Argyll and Bute Shinty Development Officer Euan McMurdo.
Other camps during the week included a rugby training session, cricket lessons, as well as wood watch sessions at Mount Stuart.

A shinty coaching session, run by Argyll and Bute's shinty development officer Euan McMurdo, was held on Tuesday, October 13, at Rothesay Joint Campus.
