Top pool player takes on Bute competitors

Pat Holtz, Scotland’s top-ranked pool player was at Kingarth Hotel on Saturday night to take on island competitors, all in the name of charity.

Pat, who won the Scottish singles championship title in 2010 and 2011 is raising money for Children’s Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS) and Marie Curie Cancer Care, and has been touring the country for several months by hosting exhibitions, giving private tuition and challenge matches, with all the funds being divided equally between the two charities.
