Bute’s Alan Brown topped the prize list at Dunoon and District Clay Target Club’s 50-clay ‘down the line’ competition for the J.E. Jacobson Trophy, held on January 2.

Despite poor light, drizzle and variable wind, Alan’s exceptional score of 148 out of a maximum of 150 won him the trophy for the second year running. His 2015 score of 134 points was achieved on a very windy day, showing how much weather conditions affect clay target shooting.

Another Bute competitor, Ronnie Robertson, also appeared on the day’s prize list after amassing 141 points.
