Bute Shinty Club’s first team will play host to Skye Camanachd in the second round of the Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup after the draw was made in Dalmally on Tuesday.

The tie promises to be a tough one for Bute after the Portree men, who currently sit top of North Division One and have yet to drop a point in the league, pulled off the surprise result of last Saturday’s first round fixtures by winning 6-2 away to Glenorchy.

Bute booked their place in the last 16 of the sport’s premier competition with a 4-0 home defeat of Taynuilt.

The game will be played at the Meadows in Rothesay on Saturday, May 31 - the full second round draw is as follows.

Lovat v Kingussie; Bute v Skye; Kyles Athletic v Newtonmore; Inverness v Inveraray; Beauly v Kinlochshiel; Lochaber v Glenurquhart; Kilmallie v Ballachulish; Fort William v Caberfeidh.
