Bute Shinty Club’s first team will play Beauly in the final of the 2013 Balliemore Cup next month.
The Inverness-shire team booked their place with a 4-1 win over Kilmallie in Saturday’s semi-final at Drumnadrochit.
Saturday’s two semi-finalists are currently joint top of South Division One, with only goal difference placing Kilmallie ahead in the battle for promotion to the Premiership, and a much closer tie had been expected.
Next month’s Balliemore Cup contest will be a repeat of the 2006 final, which Bute won 2-1 at Beauly’s own Braeview Park thanks to goals from Stewart Strathie and James Craig.
More recently, Bute - who confirmed their place in this year’s final with a 5-3 win over Strathglass on June 22 - won the trophy in 2011, beating Caberfeidh 2-1 in Portree, while Beauly lost 5-1 to Lochaber in the 2012 final in Strathpeffer.
The Camanachd Association has yet to confirm where and when this season’s final will take place, although it is understood the game is likely to be played at a venue in the south of Scotland.
