Bute’s Leighton Reid has been called up to the Scotland under-21 squad for the annual shinty-hurling international against Ireland.
Reid, who established himself as a regular starter in the Bute team which won this season’s Balliemore Cup and finished second in South Division One, is one of 19 players named in the squad for the match at Bught Park in Inverness on Saturday, November 2.
No other Bute players were named in either the senior or under-21 squads for the annual fixture - the full squad lists are as follows.
