Yasmin Price received the Spinning Wheel Trophy after winning the club championship title at the Isle of Bute Sailing Club’s annual prize-giving and dinner.

Yasmin accumulated just 54 penalty points across the season’s pennant races and musters and the regular Sunday and Wednesday series held throughout the spring and summer.

Other trophy winners on the night included the Weir Cup for the most improved cadet, awarded to Ewan Mulholland after his successful move from the Opi to the Topper, and Callum Cameron, who was presented with the Academy Trophy for the best competitor.

Total points in the battle for the club championship were as follows: Yasmin Price 54; Naomi Campbell 81; John McMillan 130; Alan Marshall 139; Callum Cameron 142; Roddy McTaggert 154; James Nicol 175; Liam Cullinane 187; Ewan Mulholland 205.
