Young shinty players from across Argyll converged on Rothesay on Sunday for Bute Shinty Club’s annual indoor tournament.
Visiting teams from Strachur, Dunoon, Kyles Athletic and Inveraray did battle with thier Bute hosts at three age group levels - P5 and under, P7 and under, and under-14.
All three competitions were won by ‘overseas’ teams, with Kyles capturing both the primary age group titles and Inveraray winning the U14 section.
The younger Kyles team was presented with the Robert McAlister Memorial Trophy and their older counterparts the Buite Primary Shinty Trophy, while Inveraray’s prize was the George Reid Memorial Trophy.
The day’s action was watched by a noisy crowd of parents, coaches, family, friends and supporters, all keen to see the next generation of Argyll and Bute shinty players show off their skills.
