Bute County Cricket Club is one of 285 organisations across Scotland who will receive a share of more than £2 million in the latest round of Awards for All grants from the National Lottery.

The club’s award of £3,000 from SportScotland will enable them to purchase new equipment in the hope of attracting new players to the game.

A total of £37,532 has been awarded to seven clubs and organisations in Argyll and Bute in the latest round of Awards for All grants as part of a total award for the whole of Scotland of £2,015,070.
