Bowls: Rothesay club holds Tommy Brady Triples

Agnes Connell and Brian MacKillop won the Tommy Brady Centenary Triples at Rothesay Bowling Club on Friday evening.

In dry but rather cold conditions, 26 players took part in this popular event, now in its 30th year, with the participants divided into six triples and four pairs.

After 12 ends Agnes and Brian received the sponsors’ prizes of steak pies and a share of the sweep, while runners-up Joan Reynolds, Johnny Walker and Harry Hill recevied the remaining steak pie and a share of the sweep.
