Youth Football: Bute game cancelled after opposition folds

Bute YFC’s under-16s will be idle this Saturday, February 23, after Greenock Thistle, who had been due to visit Rothesay, withdrew from the Paisley and District YFL.

The Greenock team’s last game was a 16-0 home defeat to Bute last weekend, and the Inverclyde team’s withdrawal unfortunately means that result - which gave Bute a remarkable record of 30 goals from three successive matches, all away from home - has been expunged from the records.
