Football: Brandanes’ pre-season starts this weekend
ROTHESAY Brandane AFC begin their preparations for the 2012-13 Caledonian League campaign with a friendly this Saturday, July 21, at home to West Kilbride.
The match kicks off at the stadium in High Street at 2.30pm.
The new Caledonian League season kicks off on Saturday, August 11; the Brandanes’ league opponents over the coming months will include two new ‘Caley’ members in the form of Cambria, the Strathclyde University graduates’ team who, like the Brandanesback in 2004, have made the move from the Scottish Amateur Football Association, and East Kilbride outfit EKFC Whitehills, formerly known as Whitehills Amateurs and previously members of the Paisley and District AFA.
Fixtures for the opening weeks of the 2012-13 Caledonian League campaign will be published in the next few weeks.
