Three players earned a handicap cut after shining in the sun at Port Bannatyne Golf Club’s March medal on Sunday.

Hector Whitelaw won the first class prize with a net 61 (74-12) which sees his handicap cut by one shot two 11, while Sam Jamieson’s net 61 (78-17) earned him a one-shot handicap cut to 16.

However, Sam’s Winter League partner David Driver did even better, winning the second class medal with a net 60 (76-16) which sees two shots removed from his handicap.

This Sunday, March 29, features the finals of the Rothesay Motor Services Winter League, with a 9.30am shotgun start.
