Port Bannatyne Golf Club’s Sam Jamieson won the M&M Trophy - the annual competition over each of the island’s three courses - courtesy of a net 68 in the final round at his home course on Sunday.

Jamieson’s excellent score, off a handicap of 15, gave him a three-round net total of 205 and a one-shot margin of overall victory over Andy Docherty, while Rothesay’s Tommy Duncan won the scratch prize with a gross total of 236.

Donald Standaloft posted the lowest gross and net scores in Sunday’s third round at the Port, his gross 70 earning him a net 66 - and a one-shot cut in his handicap to boot.

The final place on the overall podium was occupied by Port Bannatyne’s Matthew Dunn, whose net 75 on Sunday gave him a total net score of 216.
