The semi-final line-up in the Rothesay Motor Services Winter League at Port Bannatyne Golf Club was decided on Sunday.

Graham Fisher and Iain McFarlane will meet Bobby Pedder and Robert Black in the last four; Fisher and McFarlane had the biggest win of the four quarter final ties in the form of a 5 and 4 win over David Reid and David Driver, while Pedder and Black secured victory over Hector Whitelaw and Donald Standaloft courtesy of a two at the last hole.

The other semi-final tie will see Robert Jardine and Mark Crichton, runners-up in last year’s competition, take on the father-and-son Alec Greers. Jardine and Crichton had a comfortable 3 and 2 win over Colin Renfrew and Gordon Peacock in the last eight, while the Greers fought back from two down with two to play against cousins Matthew and Arran Dunn to secure victory at the first extra hole.
