Port Bannatyne’s team in the Bute Senior Golf League wrapped up their title-winning campaign in the best possible fashion this week.

The Port players, who had earlier secured the title with three wins, maintained their one hundred per cent record in style with a 3-1 win away to Rothesay.

They will be presented with the McMillan Quaich at the annual end-of-tournament Texas scramble involving the three clubs, which will be played this year at the Kingarth course on Tuesday, July 21.
