* Allan Stewart’s fine net score of 62 earned him the first silverware of the new season at the Port: his score was the best of the day in the Subscription Medal on Sunday, and won him the Peggy Adam Cup into the bargain.

The Port got off to a good start in the Mail on Sunday five-man team competition with a 4-1 win over Greenock Whinhill - the Port’s winners were Donald Standaloft, Robert Jardine, Mark Crichton and Matthew Dunn.

This weekend features the rescheduled February medal on Saturday, April 9, with the usual ballot times, and the April medal on Sunday, April 10.
