John Maltman won his second senior open title at Port Bannatyne Golf Club on Sunday with a net score of 62.
Maltman finished two shots clear of his nearest challenger, Rothesay Golf Club’s Tommy DUncan, who had the day’s best scratch score of 71.
Ted McDonald had the best score of the day in the ‘young seniors’ 50-60 age group category, but only by the better half from David Reid, while Neil Ritchie was second behind Maltman in the over-60s section with a net 68, pipping Jim Ewing by the better inward half.
The CSS was 66.
