Rothesay Golf Club's ladies' championship title has been won, for the tenth time, by Liz McMillan.

Liz McMillan returned to winning ways in Rothesay Golf Club’s ladies’ championship when she beat Phyllis McKirdy by 4 and 3 in the final.

Liz’s victory secured her tenth Rothesay club championship title and was a reverse of the result in last year’s final, between the same two players, in which Phyllis notched up her first win.

Liz overcame Elizabeth Speirs in the semi-final, with Phyllis getting the better of Elaine Mackirdy; the handicap trophy was won by Merilyn Liddell, who beat Fiona Scott in the final.
