Golf: Jimmy wins Captain’s Day at Rothesay

Jimmy Crawford won the re-scheduled Captain’s Day at Rothesay Golf Club on Sunday on a countback after he and three others tied on 40 points.

The prize for the longest drive at the 16th hole went to Neil Ritchie and the nearest the pin at the eighteenth went to Hughie Charker.

Scott McDonald won the Autumn Handicap on Saturday with a net 63 (82-19), earning himself a cut in handicap to 17; John Duncan finished second with a net 66 (71-5).
