Players from Cowal Golf Club in Dunoon continued their domination of Bute’s junior golfing scene at the Port Bannatyne junior open on Sunday.

Ewan Macaulay posted an excellent net 60 to win the Robert McAlister Memorial Trophy by a one-shot margin at the Port on Sunday, following hard on the heels of the achievements of clubmates Kerr Thomson and Chris Richmond, who had won the overall and scratch titles at Rothesay Golf Club’s junior open four days previously.

Lewis Poole finished second at the Port on Sunday with a net 61 (74-13), while Conor McClymont’s net 64 earned him third place by virtue of a better inward half.
