Craig Charker produced the highlight of the second week of the 3 in 1 Winter League at Rothesay Golf Club on Sunday with a hole in one at the fourth hole.

Craig, who scored two holes in one back in 2009, playing alongside brother Hughie in the club’s Wee Bennie tournament, once again had his brother as his playing partner on Sunday - and, like that remarkable double five years ago, achieved the feat ysing a three wood.

Craig also birdied the sixth and ninth in Sunday’s outward half, while the pair’s good form continued on the back nine with further birdies at the 11th and 14th for a winning week two score of 47 points, four clear of George Reynolds and Allan Smith.

Angus Murray returned a remarkable 44 points in Saturday’s singles league competition, courtesy of a one-under-par 68.
