Tommy Duncan returned the best net score in Stan Gaston’s Captain’s Day at Rothesay Golf Club on Sunday.
Stan opted for a medal round with winners in three divisions - handicaps of 0-8, 9-14 and 15 and above - with the added condition that players were only allowed to take four clubs and a putter on to the course.
Tommy’s net 65 won the division one prize, while John Watson took the division two honours with a net 69; Pat McDonald’s net 74 was the best score in division three.
The prize for the best lady was won by club treasurer Joan Torrance.
