Andrew McFarlane’s late header wasn’t enough to help Rothesay Brandane salveage a point from their last home match of the season on Saturday.
Alan Patrick and Steven Green struck within 90 seconds of each other in the first half to give the Lanarkshire side - who came into the game without an away win to their name all season - a comfortable interval lead.
The Brandanes enjoyed plenty of possession, but lacked a cutting edge in front of goal until McFarlane headed home a quickly-taken Sean Lawrence free kick five minutes from the end.
Wes Pattison missed a golden chance to salvage a point in the dying moments, meaning the Brandanes have failed to pick up a single point from their home fixtures in the Caledonian League this season.
