Former Rothesay Academy pupil Jane Ross scored her 16th goal for Scotland in Sunday’s 2-1 win over Wales at East End Park in Dunfermline.

Jane, who signed a professional contract with Swedish side Vittsjo GIK at the turn of the year, opened the scoring for the Scots after just ten minutes from Jenny Beattie’s flick.

Wales equalised eight minutes later through Natasha Harding, but Emma Mitchell netted the Scots’ winner midway through the second half.

Jane’s new club career kicks off with the first round of fixtures in the Swedish women’s league - the Damallsvenskan - on Sunday, April 14, when Vittsjo are away to Sunnanå SK.
